DID YOU KNOW...

… the last BIG2050 workstudio report is online?

Yes!! The report from the multi-stakeholder workstudio “Collaboration for Sustainable Lifestyles through Business and Social Innovations” that took place in Berlin, Germany on November 4 and 5.

The last of the workstudio of the BIG2050 project was organized by the Collaboration Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (CSCP) in partnership with the European Environment Agency (EEA) and its Topic Centre on Sustainable Consumption and Production (ETC/SCP), and with the support of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), took place.

Various stakeholders joined the event to lead a dialogue on sustainable lifestyles can be up scaled through business and social innovations by exploring success stories and theirs success factors and different pathways.

HOT IS...

… to play a game!

Our two members Thomas and Mariana shared with us a new approach to communicate sustainability. Thomas told us about and organization who turn various sustainability-research results into games. One example would be a game where you are the manager of a company and have to increase profits while reducing CO2 - based on real data. Mariana shared the article "Activating social innovation for sustainability through a playful approach" with us, co-authored by an innovative game developer and one of the members of our network. Do you know of any sustainability games? Share them with us.

…to stop being judgmental and get engaged in change!

We found an interesting article online which talks about people’s reaction towards sustainable behavior and things that sometimes do not appear to be sustainable or simply work differently than expected.
